All Things Praise (2008)
All Things Praise is a collection of worship songs written by musicians from Vintage21 Church in Raleigh, North Carolina. These songs represent hearts transformed by the Savior, Jesus Christ, and are our thankful responses to Him. As much as we love singing to God each Sunday at Vintage21, these songs are a mere glimpse of our worship. Somehow, worship is often reduced to singing in a church service on Sunday. That doesn’t seem right- Jesus gave His life, offering merciful grace in exchange for our sinful nature, and we give an hour a week? A more appropriate response is presented by the Apostle Paul in Romans 12, verse 1: “I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.”
We hope to take our cultural understanding of worship- music and singing on Sundays- and broaden it to a more biblical view- living every second of every day in an appropriate response to Jesus Christ. One of the main reasons behind recording this album was in hopes that the congregation of Vintage21 Church would take their praise through these songs out of the Sunday service and into the world. This is more than Sunday, more than a service, more than an album of songs.

The Psalms (2003)
At the time of The Psalms there was one band at Vintage21 Church, then less than a year old. During the months of September through November of 2003 we explored Psalms 40-50 in our Sunday services. For this series, the worship band wrote a song to accompany each Psalm in the study. The original psalms are the songs and poetry of a people just like us: seeking to know and respond in worship to a God they could not always see or understand. The emotions of each Psalm range from despair to joy, confusion to hope, and anger to praise. this group of songs attempts to capture those emotions, both in music and verse.
