Things are moving along at Vintage21 Church, hence the lack of posts recently on worship.vintage21.com. I wanted to log in and announce that we’ll be joined at Advance 09 and Re:Sound by a band from Mars Hill Church (Seattle), led by Pastor Tim Smith. Both Mike Cosper of Sojourn and Tim Smith of Mars Hill have done an amazing job of leading people in worship of God and building bands who understand the importance of excellence and contextualization.
The Re:Sound event on Friday, June 5th marks two exciting events: the availability of Sojourn Church’s highly anticipated album, “Over The Grave: The Hymns of Isaac Watts, Volume One”. You can hear a track from the album at the Facebook page for Sojourn Music. Also, this event marks the release of Re:Sound, the musical wing of The Resurgence.
