@V21Church,

I wish you could hear how beautiful you sound when you sing with your full heart. If you ever see me smile up there, its because I get such an amazing perspective on hearing people sing to their Savior, Creator, Lover of their souls and Author of their faith. I stood up there sang back to you all with my whole heart. There have been times over my life when I am just too worn down to pray but somehow I can always sing to Jesus. However, I’m glad we get to worship together as a community.

I have sung each of the songs for my entire life. “Be Thou My Vision” might be one of my favorite lyrics of all times. Its comes from such a romantic heart towards Jesus. It was fun to work up a version that hopefully lifted the lyrics to a place of hope and perseverance.

When we started working up the version of “How Great Thou Art” I made one demand: I want to try to make people dance. I think a great groove is something that is often lacking in church.  WHY?  So here’s the thing. If you want to move, move. Please stop short of the worm but I loved looking out there and seeing people grooving along to a song that many have sang their whole life.

Lastly can I tell you how great it is to play with each of the people in the band. They are all so very talented and gifted. I look forward to seeing you all soon.
