My wife and I were out of town this past weekend to celebrate our anniversary, but made it back for the evening service. It was great being in the congregation, worshiping without having tons of things going on in my mind. On a personal level, I look forward to having multiple bands for the reason of worshiping with my wife.
Jarred is a student, husband, soon-to-be-father, works as a waiter, leads a community group, in addition to being a worship leader. We’re thankful for his leadership on Sundays, but I haven’t asked him to do an in-depth Sunday Review. But I will post the song list.

Sermon: Ecclesiastes 5:12-6:12
The series on Ecclesiastes has proven each week to speak relevance into our lives in the 21st century. This week, the same rang true as King Solomon presses on the issues of wealth, contentment, and calling.  The question that once again arises is: where is our hope? Is it found in the American Dream where we are entitled to certain elements, or do we look to Scripture that instructs us to accept our lot, be content with what God has given us and use those gifts on behalf of the gospel?
